He is the Co-founder and Director of Cornerstone Development Africa (CDA), a non-governmental organization established in 1988. CDA focuses on nurturing youth through education, character formation, and leadership training across Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, South Sudan, and Kenya.
Charles Maye is a seasoned organizational leader with over 15 years of experience driving growth and innovation across Africa’s leading businesses, including Absa, Airtel, Diageo, and Nation Media Group. His career spans diverse sectors such as telecoms, media, and beverages, where he has successfully led commercial teams in Kenya, Nigeria, England, Malawi, and Ghana. Charles brings a proven track record of delivering strategic results and building high-performing teams across complex markets.
Hon. John Kaguchia is a Kenyan legislator currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Mukurweini Constituency. With a background in law and diplomacy, he previously served as the Speaker of the Nyeri County Assembly, where he was instrumental in legislative leadership and governance reforms. He is dedicated mentor with the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF), where he invests in shaping future leaders through dialogue, mentorship, and community engagement.
Hon. Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch, EBS, CBS (Retired), is a distinguished Kenyan jurist and former First Vice-President of the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague. She served as an ICC judge from 2009 to 2018, presiding over landmark cases involving war crimes and crimes against humanity. Prior to her tenure at the ICC, she held positions as a Judge of the High Court and the Court of Appeal in Kenya, where she was instrumental in establishing the Family Division of the High Court and advancing judicial reforms.
Winnie Kamau is an experienced Kenyan professional and the CEO of Simamizi Africa Ltd, a consulting firm offering the CEO Masterclass—a bi-monthly program focused on self-mastery for leaders in corporates and NGOs. She has worked in various capacities with organizations such as the UN, Oxfam, KPMG, BBC, and served on a diplomatic posting in the DRC. With a background in Information Technology and training, she is also a trained mediator and counsellor, passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting leaders.
FA Luke Kinoti is an accomplished investment banker, entrepreneur, trainer, and author with over 35 years of experience in corporate leadership and capital advisory. He is the founder and CEO of Vedman Capital Ltd, a CMA-licensed investment advisory firm. He previously led Suntra Investment Ltd and co-founded Fusion Capital. His expertise spans portfolio management, deal structuring, and governance. A former CEO of ECLOF Kenya, he holds degrees from the University of Nairobi and serves on multiple boards across various sectors.
Uduak Amimo is a distinguished Kenyan journalist, media strategist, and leadership coach with over two decades of experience in international and local media. She has held roles at Reuters, Voice of America, and the BBC World Service, and hosted Citizen TV’s Cheche from 2012 to 2017. A moderator of Kenya’s first televised presidential debate in 2013, she now leads Ramani Life Group, mentoring youth and professionals. Njihia Njoroge is the Managing Director and Founder of Bingwa Services, a platform optimizing Kenya’s gig economy by connecting skilled home service providers with clients. With a background in Agri-Business Management from Egerton University, he has held leadership roles in IT, FMCG, and banking sectors. Njihia is also the founder of Sahihi Interior Builders and has co-founded ECLOF Kenya. A seasoned entrepreneur and innovator, he is passionate about promoting human flourishing and sharing abundance with stakeholders.
Emmanuel Oire, aka The Code Whisperer with a Side of Chaos, is a Full-Stack Engineer who turns coffee into APIs and dreams into Kubernetes clusters. He’s built high-scale systems, heroically fixed production breaks, and automated long tasks into minutes. Passionate about making tech thrilling, Emmanuel debates AI’s future, explains DevOps to his mom (who humors him), and secretly plans a bot to organize his GitHub repos. Ready to chat AI, tech metaphors, or the classic “it works on my machine” excuse.
Wamuyu Gatheru is a Chevening Scholar and governance specialist with over 20 years of experience advising public sector, civil society, and donor programs across East Africa. Educated to Master’s level, she has worked extensively in Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, and Uganda. Her expertise lies in state-building, governance, and public sector reform in both stable and fragile contexts. She is skilled in program planning, monitoring, and evaluation, with a lifelong passion for balancing state responsibility with the protection of human rights.
Lee Karuri is a renowned Kenyan architect, entrepreneur, and business leader. A graduate of the University of Nairobi, he co-founded Dimensions Architects & Interior Designers, now a top regional firm. He later founded Home Afrika, the first real estate company listed on the NSE. As Executive Chairman of Resorts and Cities, he leads major developments like Longonot Gate. A former KEPSA Chair and Vision 2030 advisor, he was awarded OGW in 2004. His success stems from resilience, impact-driven leadership, and reinvestment.
Mbuki Mburu is a Kenyan public policy and youth development advocate with over eight years of experience across NGOs, government, and international platforms. She has addressed the UN General Assembly and led national campaigns like #ShuleYangu. Currently, she serves as Senior Partnership and Member Engagement Officer at Girls Not Brides and sits on the board of Siasa Place. A USIU-Africa alumna, Mbuki is a 2020 Africa 35 Under 35 laureate and 2022 Daima Trust awardee for youth leadership in diversity and inclusion.
